Fall 2014 Trends in Fashion

Gigis Bluffton - Thursday, September 11, 2014

Okay, so it's not officially Fall and it's still hotter than ever here in the Lowcountry, but with the kids back to school and the days getting shorter, we just KNOW cooler temperatures and the fall season is upon us. So happy almost Fall, Y'all!

You would know we have Fall weather on the brain if you stepped into our store, too!  Gigi's in Bluffton is full of the latest fall fashion styles. And we're here to report the latest in Fall fashion here on our blog. We have more styles arriving daily, so be sure to come in and check them out.  Here's what's trending for Fall 2014.

1) The Robe Coat

2) Dark Floral Patterns

3) Plaid -- Everything plaid!

4) Western Wear. Yeehaw!

5) Leather detailing

A robe coat? Why, yes! They're fabulous! We love how they are easy to wear and how they just cinch in your waist. In the Lowcountry, you don't need big heavy coats, so a light weight sweater robe coat works just perfectly.

And just when we thought we could all hibernate for Fall and Winter, fashion is showing us that flowers are not dead. There's a huge trend in florals for Fall, except they aren't your traditional pretty flower. They are still romantic but they are a bit darker, bigger and more rebellious!  We love the sexy edgy look of the dark florals.

Want to see plaid, western wear, leather detailing and MORE fall fashion trends? Check back in the coming weeks as we show you more of these trends! Happy almost Fall Y'all!
